Our Vision for Thekkady 2030
The Thekkady Tourism Infrastructure Enhancement Project (TTIEP) is designed to elevate Thekkady into one of India’s foremost sustainable eco-tourism hubs. By upgrading physical infrastructure, introducing smart digital visitor management, safeguarding Periyar Lake’s ecology, and empowering local communities, the project creates a long-term socio-economic asset for Kerala.
A one-time strategic investment of ₹40 Crore can generate compounding economic, environmental, and civic dividends for decades, positioning Thekkady as an international model for responsible green tourism.
