A Global Citizens' Movement for a Better Kerala
Make Kerala Great Again (MKGA) is a citizens' movement committed to Kerala's long-term social, economic, environmental and institutional progress.
We seek to bring together Keralites living in Kerala, elsewhere in India, and around the world around one shared purpose: To help build a stronger, healthier, prosperous, sustainable and well-governed Kerala for present and future generations.
Our objective is not merely to discuss Kerala's problems.
Our objective is to develop solutions.
President’s Message — Cyriac Lukose
“Our progress must be measured not by the number of discussions we conduct, but by the tangible and verifiable impact we create.”
How MKGA Began
MKGA began through conversations among Keralites concerned about Kerala's future and interested in moving beyond discussion toward constructive civic action.
Those discussions produced ideas involving public health, environmental protection, river conservation, tourism, governance, youth participation, and economic development. As the ideas grew, so did the need for a permanent public platform where proposals could be researched, published, and followed systematically over time.
What Makes MKGA Different
1. Ideas
Identify worthwhile, practical solutions from across the globe.
2. Expertise
Bring knowledgeable professionals and domain specialists together.
3. Evidence
Use credible public data and official records rather than assumptions.
4. Transparency
Maintain an open public record of proposals, RTI inquiries, and progress.
What MKGA Is NOT
- • MKGA is not a political party and seeks constructive engagement across political boundaries.
- • MKGA does not endorse or oppose political candidates.
- • MKGA is not primarily a funding or charity organization.
- • Participation in MKGA projects should not create financial hardship for members.
- • Our strength is ideas, expertise, advocacy, and collective action.
